Howdy Disco Citizens!

I've just found a bunch of remixes we did of Time.

I can see from our discography that this "Dark Version" was included on the Supermagic EP, but I seem to recall that we originally did this mix for a compilation.

I can't remember the full version of this ever being released on another compilation (correct me if I'm wrong) and I can see from the archives that we did quite a few versions (surprise surprise!)

This mix of Time (Dark Version V1) was created on March 11th, 2010 at Subterrane Recording Studio.

Stay tuned for a barrage of Time (Dark Version) remixes.
There are minor changes in each mix, and I'm sure the completists will have fun spotting the subtle differences.

Electronically yours,

Juan del Toro.

Written by John von Ahlen

Verse 1
Follow the light
You won't find anyone
You won't find anything
Only the secrets that you feared

See how the light
It blinds you every time
And leaves the darkest sky
brighter than anything you feared

Time to say goodbye (Knowing that we only have a moment)
Time to say goodbye (Maybe in the end we all are blessed)
Time to say goodbye (Feel the universe starting over)
Time to say goodbye (Waiting for the end, of all we know)

Verse 2
Beyond the light,
We feel the helplessness
We fear the emptiness
Knowing oblivion is near

But at the end,
We believe everything
Will redeem all our sins
But do we know anything?

Repeat Chorus

There's no one here, there's no one left
So beautiful, the emptiness
There's no more fear, there's no regret
So beautiful, the emptiness

If ever there was a new electronic pop band to encapsulate and emulate the legendary stylings of Depeche Mode, The Human League, Erasure, New Order, Pet Shop Boys and the spirit of Madonna in her 80s day-glo era, then Australia’s Parralox are that modern-day reincarnation. ... more
