Howdy Disco Citizens,

For the last year Parralox have been recording tracks for the forthcoming album, with the working title of "Genesis".

This track Resurrection was written by John von Ahlen in August 2018 and what you are hearing is the first demo mix of the track with John's rough vocals. I think we wrote the song in about 20 minutes.

This track is dedicated to Jacqueline Pierce, a British actor who is well known for her portrayal as Servalan in the BBC Sci Fi show Blake's 7.
She also appeared in Doctor Who (the classic series, not the current dumpster fire).

The vocals for this track were recorded on Monday the 27th of August, 2018 in Subterrane Recording Studio, Melbourne, Australia.

A Secret Wish is still an album I play to this day. It has never waned. I actually think it has got better with age. I'm not a fan generally of live recordings but this is one I love listening to.
