Paradise
Written by Lillia Auzou & John von Ahlen
Intro
It's gonna be like Paradise x2
Verse 1
We were standing at a cross road
I felt so torn apart
I was standing alone in the rain
And you were just another lonely heart
Pre Chorus
We are crossing over the rivers of life
You think the other side, would be like paradise
But we are still two very lonely hearts
Living on the other side of a bridge over water
Chorus
The time has come to let you go
Let you go
The time has come to let you go
Let you go
Verse 2
We were drifters in the dark, searching for love
Drawn to each other by the need of another
We walked into the unknown together
Repeat Pre Chorus
Repeat Chorus
Middle 8
I'm gonna let you go (x8)
Pre Chorus 2
The time has come to let you go, to let you go (x4)

Additional Information:
Paradise was originally written in 1993 when John and Lillia were in a dance band called Nova (Sony Music Australia).
Nova recorded 3 albums worth of material, but sadly only 2 singles ever saw the light of day.
Marcella Detroit was a vocalist in the band Shakespeares Sister, appeared in the BBC TV Show Absolutely Fabulous and sang backing vocals on "I've Had The Time of my Life" by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.
Did we mention Marcella also co-wrote Lay Down Sally with Eric Clapton and wrote songs for Aretha Franklin, Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager, Stanley Clarke, Chaka Khan, Belinda Carlisle, and Al Jarreau?
If ever there was a new electronic pop band to encapsulate and emulate the legendary stylings of Depeche Mode, The Human
League, Erasure, New Order, Pet Shop Boys and the spirit of Madonna in her 80s day-glo era, then Australia’s Parralox are that modern-day reincarnation....more

A Secret Wish is still an album I play to this day. It has never waned. I actually think it has got better with age. I'm not a fan generally of live recordings but this is one I love listening to. And Disziplin is on here too. Just as I remember it on The Tube. Who could ask for anything more? Just wish I would have been there but this is the next best thing. ❤ bazgray

Bandcamp is my favorite app. Without Bandcamp I would missed out on a lot of great music like Empathy Test! A wonderful album. Occasionally bombastic with nice synths and the voice of Isaac Howlett on top. Well done guys💪🏽 Fredschuit
