I Am Human (JJJ Remix)

Hi everyone,

Way back in 2010, our manager at the time thought it would be a good idea to remix "I Am Human" in order to get some airplay on Australian Radio station JJJ.

The track was recorded on Thursday the 7th of October, 2010 at Subterrane Recording Studio, Melbourne, Australia.

This remix has never been included on an official Parralox release, and is exclusive to Bandcamp.

Hope you enjoy it!

Electronically yours,

Verse 1
There are moments in your life
When you change
Take a moment to decide, re-arrange
Do you suffer with the pain
Look around you
Don't you live your life in shame
Because you're not to blame

Pre Chorus
Don't you know, that you are strong
In the silence you will carry on
You're not a number and you're not a slave
They can't remove the love they never gave

Touch me, hold me, feel me, be me
Touch me, hold me, feel me, be me
I am human and I need you
To understand that things that you do
Maybe we can start the healing
And understand the way I'm feeling

Verse 2
First you tell a little lie, and it's easy
Then the time it passes by
You are not free
If you listen to the world
It can hurt you
Have you lived my life in shame
Because you're not the same?

If ever there was a new electronic pop band to encapsulate and emulate the legendary stylings of Depeche Mode, The Human League, Erasure, New Order, Pet Shop Boys and the spirit of Madonna in her 80s day-glo era, then Australia’s Parralox are that modern-day reincarnation. ... more
