Shortly before leaving for our live performance at FAC251 in Manchester, I started work on Dreams of Leaving.

The song was originally recorded by The Human League MkI in 1979.

Parralox is currently working on a cover of the entire Travelogue album, on which Dreams of Leaving appears.

Heaven 17 were due to perform the Reproduction and Travelogue albums on March 19 and 20 in Sheffield and London respectively, but both shows were cancelled due to this damn Coronavirus.

I present you with Version 2 of Dreams of Leaving.

This version was recorded on Thursday the 20th of February, 2020 at Subterrane Recording Studio, Melbourne, Australia.

A Secret Wish is still an album I play to this day. It has never waned. I actually think it has got better with age. I'm not a fan generally of live recordings but this is one I love listening to. And Disziplin is on here too. Just as I remember it on The Tube. Who could ask for anything more? Just wish I would have been there but this is the next best thing. ❤ bazgray
